The MiDi (Habitats & Diversity [Milieux & Diversité]) network The MiDi (Habitats & Diversity [Milieux & Diversité]) network
The MiDi (Habitats & Diversity [Milieux & Diversité]) network is an interdisciplinary Thematic Research Network in the Centre-Val de Loire Region (France).
European Climate Research Alliance European Climate Research Alliance
The European Climate Research Alliance (ECRA) aims to strengthen, expand and optimise EU climate research capabilities through the sharing of world-class national facilities in Europe and the collaborative realisation of pan-EU programmes.
Météo et climat Météo et climat
Météo et Climat is an association under the law of 1901, recognised as being of public utility. It was founded in 1852 under the name Société Météorologique de France. Chaired by Jean Jouzel, Météo et climat is oriented towards the scientific world and all those interested in metrology and climate.
Zone Atelier Loire (ZAL) Zone Atelier Loire (ZAL)
The Zones Ateliers (ZA) focus on a functional unit (a river and its watershed, landscapes - agricultural or urban - and biodiversity, from Antarctica to sub-Saharan Africa, or the coastline, or the environments characterized by chronic radiation of natural or enhanced natural origin) and develop a specific scientific approach based on observations and experiments on workshops sites, to conduct multidisciplinary research in the long term. A ZA is therefore, most often, a network of workshop sites. The purpose of ZAL is to observe the hydrosystem, human societies and their coevolution on the Loire River basin, on a scale of 15,000 years.
Projet Laccave Projet Laccave
Climate change is a major issue for the vine and wine sector. Its effects are already noticeable in many vineyards and vary from region to region. Research is being mobilised to specify these impacts, but above all to explore and test possible adaptations. The LACCAVE project wants to respond to these issues. It brings together all INRAe researchers and associated laboratories (CNRS and Universities) working in France on the adaptation of the vine and wine sector to climate change.
Project H2020 Nexogenesis Project H2020 Nexogenesis
Facilitating the next generation of effective and intelligent water-related policies utilising artificial intelligence and reinforcement learning to assess the water-energy-food-ecosystem (WEFE) nexus
Project H2020 ARSINOE Project H2020 ARSINOE
A brand-new Horizon 2020 project entitled Climate Resilient Regions Through Systemic Solutions and Innovations—ARSINOE, kicked off on October 1, 2021. KWR is one of the 41 partners from 15 countries. ARSINOE intends to accelerate resilience by delivering regional ecosystems that develop and implement innovative climate change adaptation measures and solutions across Europe. A multidisciplinary and cross-sectorial approach is required to acknowledge that climate change is complex and strongly connected to other global challenges, such as food security, water scarcity, biodiversity depletion, and environmental degradation.
