Introduction to Hydrological Modelling in the Context of Climate Change

Within the framework of the symposium, a one-day training session is offered to master and doctoral students as well as to researchers who wish to attend. It includes an introduction to the concepts of hydrological modeling and its importance in the context of climate change.

Claudio Paniconi of INRS in Québec will give an introduction on hydrological modelling.

Sihem Benabdallah of CERTE research institute in Tunis will give an introduction to SWAT model https://swat.tamu.edu/, one main used hydrological model in the scientific community.

Haykel Sellami of CERTE research institute in Tunis and Kaoutar Mounir of the Citeres laboratory of the University of Tours and the geological laboratory of the University of Fez will initiate participants to the implementation of the SWAT model.

The initiation to hydrological modeling will be done in a computer laboratory of the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme of the city of Tours.

The participation to this training is included in the registrations fees of the conference but requires registration for the day as space is limited to 22 participants
